The popular Michel catalogue that most German or European collectors use have converted the values to Euros from DM. In the process, values have been rounded downwards! This in effect, devalues the majority of German stamps.

As the trade normally sells at a discount over the catalogue values, the advise is to buy if you find items being offered at below catalogue prices.
