TRINIDAD: 1847 "LADY McLEOD" (5c.) blue, pencancelled, very large margins all sides, wonderful appearance and a fine example of this great British Commonwealth rarity. Cat. £7,000. With "Royal" certificate (1997) stating "... Transient flaw at foot of stamp and small surface abrasion". Which in our opinion is both unecessarily harsh and difficult to understand (1) Est. £2,000 |
